Country Tweed - Queen Suite 

This guest room is one of two suites located adjacent to each other on the 2nd floor of the remodeled and repurposed dairy barn, now called Heartstone Lodge. These suites were actually part of the original barn hayloft. The suite is large and perfect for 1-2 adults. The queen sized bed, mid-century Craftsman style furniture sitting area, with a few antiques to stay with a feeling of the elegant, yet relaxed, country setting we enjoy. You will find a full en-suite bathroom with shower, ample towels and family style toiletries and 2 spa robes. 

Only a few steps from your guestroom, you will find a 1200 sq ft lounge area, with multiple sitting options. The original hayloft heart pine floor was kept & refinished. This large space is shared with the guests in the adjacent suite. You will find a self-catering coffee bar, with a pod style coffee maker (a drip coffee pot is available + ground coffee, if preferred), dishes, silverware, a mini refrigerator & small microwave is there for your use.  

Our guests have enjoyment of the 2nd floor, the balcony, the pergola and adjacent grounds with fire-fit. A propane grill is also available in the Stone Garden off the pergola. 

** We ask our guests to treat their guest room, the Hayloft Room and this property as they would their home: please turn off unnecessary lights, check the doors to be sure they are closed. Outdoor lights are on timers... Thank you for choosing Heartstone. 

Parking is approximately 30 feet away from Lodge entry. 

Bring a good flashlight and comfy shoes.

The property has a few feral cats, a domestic cat, lots of the usual country critters, deer and pastured cows. Our guests need to be comfortable with the dark and quiet of a country setting. On many nights the Milky Way can be seen and more stars than you may have seen in a very long time. Fireflies flicker and hover over the ground and in the trees on warm summer nights. 

If there is no event in The Lodge, our studio guests have use of the 65 ft vine covered pergola with small pond (base of an old silo) with water fountain & waterfall, a 3 tiered meditation garden, a fire-pit (with burnable wood), a chiminea (with burnable wood), the Stone Garden and large umbrella-ed picnic tables. ** You will be told if there is an event scheduled for the dates you are with us.
